Russia was the better team.

Turkey was weak and Wales was dynamic.

Italy dominated play.

Ukraine capitalized on their opportunities while Macedonia got lucky with their goal.

Denmark led the game very early in and was persistent on adding to their score but Belgium was too good. Denmark was out-classed.

Netherlands was the dominant of the two.

Sweden made an effort to penetrate Slovakia's defence but it was a difficult feat. Sweden nevertheless scored and won.

Croatia's persistence rewarded them a tie.

Scotland, the supposedly weaker link, surprisingly fared well against England which led to a draw.

Hungary's fighting spirit earned them a tie.

Germany was frustrating to watch at first but their offence eventually came through. Germany may not be what they used to be but they're still Germany and they get the job done. Portugal tried to come back but to no avail as German's firepower was too hot to handle.

Spain took control of the possessions as expected but Poland did not give up and was able to equalize.
